Chocolate chip muffins

A crispy, sky-high muffin top, full of chocolate chips, soft and buttery on the inside – a perfect way to start your morning!


What you need to make chocolate chip muffins

- 100 g of chocolate chip (1.36€)

- 150 g of butter, in pieces, and a little for the mold (1.66€)

- 2 eggs (1.05€ for 10 eggs)

- 200 g of powdered sugar (1.25€)

- 300 g of flour (0.44€)

- 1 pinch of salt (0.26€)

- 300 g of milk (0.88€)

- 2 tsp of baking powder (0.22€)

Total: 7.12€


How to make chocolate chip muffins

Preheat your oven at 180°C.

Grease the muffin trays with butter and set aside.

Put the butter, eggs, sugar, flour, salt, milk and baking powder in a mixing bowl and whisk them all together.

Add chocolate chips in the bowl and mix.

Transfer the dough in the muffin trays.

Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C, or until golden brown.

Leave the muffins in the trays to cool for a few minutes and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
