Key Lime Pie

Ingredients

- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (1.25€)

- Salt (0.26€)

- 200 g of biscuit (0.69€)

- 5 limes (2€)

- 75g of butter (1.56€)

- 3 egg yolks (1.05€ for 10 eggs)

Total: 6.81€


Recipe

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

2. Crumble the cookies then add the melted butter and mix.

3. Arrange this preparation in a dish. Bake for about 10 minutes at 180°C until the crust has a golden color.

4. Meanwhile, prepare the filling: beat the egg yolks with the sweetened condensed milk, add the lemon juice and mix to obtain a creamy consistency.

5. Pour the filling over the cookie preparation and cook for about 20 minutes at 180°C until the lemon cream is well set.
